And the light is red! We are back and this week we sat down with one of MVCS’s new football coaches, Maurice Mann, to talk about his journey, coaching philosophy, goals for the program, and the future of Mustang football.

He played at a D1 college, SMU, and has a lot of experience coaching football. He wants you to know who he really is and we want to bring him in with a warm welcome!

Joe Lampkin is MVCS' head basketball coach, with it being his first year coaching the mustangs and leading them to the CCS playoffs! Joe Lampkin will tell you his story and how God could never pull him away from the game of basketball

Tipton and White are two of our alumni who were also part of the very successful MVCS basketball team, winning their league 2 years in a row and winning CCS 3 years in a row!

Marcus Northcutt is current athletic director at North Salinas and will take us through his journey with God

Nikki Daniels is the Head of School at MVCS. She will be explaining why the 100th of year of MVCS is so important and sharing her story.

Isabella Menez is an alumni of MVCS and the current head coach of their award winning cheer program. She will explain her struggles and how God helped her through them.

Brian Smith is the first guest to appear on Mind of The Mustang that isnt part of the Mustang Community. He is a track and field coach and wrote the book, "Away Game: A Christian Parent's Guide to Navigating Youth Sports" Hear his story and what inspires him. 

Eric Beckman is the cross country coach here at MVCS. He led the cross country team to state this past season and will tell you his story seeing his players grow much more into just athletes.
